Here is a new publication I coauthored describing eleven plant species new to science (one named after me😊) from the LSU 1978 expedition up the Cordillera Colán in northern Peru. The publication summarizes info for 983 plant species we collected (including 59 additional new plants described elsewhere and 81 species that are endemic to the area). The publication also lists the 11 birds and seven frogs collected on the expedition that had not been scientifically described at the time. The 131 pages with photos give readers a great sense of what it was like to conduct scientific field work in a very remote biologically diverse location.
